Razer Wildcat

The Xbox One is one of the best game consoles on the market today. It is the direct competition to Sony’s Playstation 4 game console.

Because of its popularity, the Xbox One has a lot of accessories; some are made by Microsoft and some are made by third-party manufacturers.

Today, I am going to talk about an Xbox One game console controller that was made by the ever-popular gaming peripheral company, Razer.

Specifically, I am going to talk about the Razer Wildcat. The Razer Wildcat is the successor to the Razer Sabertooth and I think they really nailed it with this one.

The Razer Wildcat, although originally made for the Xbox One, can also be used for Windows 10 PCs. It works right off the bat and you do not need to download any other additional drivers which are pretty nice.

The design of the Razer Wildcat is pretty standard. It is shaped just like any Xbox controller and it also weighs pretty much the same as the original game console’s controller as well.

There are included palm grips but a lot of people are having gripes with it. For one, it is cumbersome to install. You have to completely align it on the controller to make it look cool. Other than that, it only comes in green (probably because of the company’s color scheme) which may put some people off.

Fortunately, the included Palm grips are completely optional so you can opt not to put it on the controller.

The Razer Wildcat also comes with an included thumbstick pads for better grip and to better protect the thumbsticks too.

The D-Pad and the ABXY buttons are pretty responsive. The buttons feel as if you’re clicking one of their gaming mice. Each press does produce a lot more sound that the conventional Xbox One controller, though, so you do have to bear that in mind.

The D-pad is a tad bit spaced far apart. I play some fighting games from time to time and I instantly noticed this. It is not a deal breaker at all and I think that the D-pad is more responsive than the original Xbox One controller.

Below the controller, you will see 4 icons. One button is the button remap switch, another button is for profile switching (which the controller has 2 profiles), there is also a button to mute the mic, and the last button is to control the volume of your earphones or headphones.

The controller also comes with a headphone jack at the bottom. You can plug in any headphone or earphone with a 3.5mm jack. You can even put Razer’s own Elektra headset in if you like.

Like the Xbox One Elite controller, the Razer Wildcat also comes with programmable buttons, but instead of programmable paddles, the Wildcat has programmable rockers at the back.

Personally, I like the rockers better because it feels natural. You can fully customize the rockers as well as the M1 and M2 shoulder buttons to mimic other buttons on the controller.

What you need to do is simply press the remap button, hold down the key you want to customize, and then tap the button you’d like to remap it to. The controller will them rumble to signify that the remapping was done correctly and you can play your game with the new controls immediately.

The Razer Wildcat is a very good Xbox one game console controller. It does come with a heavy price tag but it is made by a pretty renowned gaming peripherals company, so you are assured of a quality game controller.

The Geometry Wars 3 Dimensions Evolved Game for iOS mobile phones is a visually appealing game. It really makes good use of the iPhone’s hardware really well. You see, whenever you destroy an enemy in this game, the enemy will explode in amazing fashion. What I mean is that the graphics are just amazing.

Also, in this game, you are encouraged to move as much as possible instead of shooting in the corner. Whenever you destroy enemies, they will drop something that will increase your score multiplier even further.

If you just employ a stationary approach, your score will inevitably low as compared to really moving in and getting the bonuses.

Of course, this game will not be complete without a few new additions. You can have up to 6 companions that you can choose to have during your missions. These are the collect, attack, snipe, defend, sweep, and snipe addons. All of them do what their namesake says. If you get the collect companion, for example, they will collect the score multipliers that are within range for you.

The Geometry Wars 3 Dimensions Evolved Game for iOS uses the iCloud to save game progress so you can sync up your progress through your other iOS devices. To make sure that the syncing process is not interrupted, get a mobile phone signal booster.
